Shipping & Returns
Please note that due to delays with our shipping partners UPS, USPS, and FedEx there might be delays in receiving your holiday orders. We ask that you place your holiday orders in advance so you have a better chance of getting your purchases in time for the holidays.
Additionally, while media mail through USPS is a less expensive way to ship it is also the slowest. If you are using this option please place your holiday orders at least a month in advance to account for the delays.

All orders are prepared and shipped within 2-5 business days. Once your order is shipped, an email notification with tracking information will be sent to you.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Shipments to P.O. Boxes will only be done if orders are shipped through USPS.
Standard Shipping time is based on location. Expedited is 2-day shipping. We can only support one shipping address per order. You may receive multiple packages for items placed within one order.
Customers ordering outside of the United States will be responsible for all shipping and duties charges.
The delivery time is stated in calendar days and depends on location, shipping method, and shipping carrier used. The delivery may be longer than stated during national holidays.
Sscarlet's Web Bookstore does not take the responsibility for the delivery delays that happen through third-party services.
Sscarlet’s Web Bookstore will not be held responsible for goods damaged or lost during shipping, or if an incorrect shipping address is provided. Should your package not show up, or arrive damaged, please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim.
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return on all full-price items except gift cards and mugs.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at email@example.com. Return shipping will be at your own cost. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, Items such as damaged items, special orders, personalized items, mugs, sale items, or gift cards can not be returned or exchanged. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is received we will organize the exchange with you, including any partial refunds or extra costs. All exchange shipping will be at your own cost.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
